Eight of the world's best players will be competing for the Pot Black Cup on September 2 at the Royal Automobile Club in London.
The popular one-day tournament returned to television screens last year when Matthew Stevens beat Shaun Murphy in the final of the one-frame knock-out.
The line-up this time features world No 1 Stephen Hendry, world champion Graeme Dott, Masters and Grand Prix champion John Higgins, Malta Cup champ Ken Doherty, former world champions Mark Williams, Peter Ebdon and Shaun Murphy as well as defending champion Matthew Stevens.
